  • Per this article, the Godzillatron will not be used for the U2 concert.  I’m thinking it should be used, and that U2 should make a DVD concert of the event.
  • I can’t decide if the lack of a NCAA football playoff system is stupid or genius.  It’s stupid in the sense that you never get a clear champion.  It’s genius because love it or hate it, people always talk about it.

  • I still think the best movie cameo of all time is Lance Armstrong in Dodgeball.  I wanted to post a video of it, but YouTube only had non-English versions.
  • To get the youth to buckle up in the Middle East, try using Gucci seatbelts.
  • I saw a segment on the news the other night about things this year’s college freshmen have never experienced, and one item was state abbreviations with more than two letters.  To be honest, I always thought they were only two letters, but that changed back in 1987.
  • I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the shower first and THEN turn on the water.
  • After all these years, I’m surprised the paint can hasn’t evolved into something better.
  • I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t at least kind of tired.

Ticked Off Tuesday

It’s another edition of Ticked Off Tuesday.

Feel free to jot down anything that currently ticks you off.

I’ll start:

It ticks me off when you are in the office, and someone sends out an email to a group about a particular problem, and that problem gets solved via email after several exchanges.   Eventually someone is a little behind in reading his or her email, and as said person begins to read his or her email responds to the original email with a solution even though the issue at hand has already been resolved – all he or she needed to do was to scroll up and see if anyone else has responded with a proper solution.
