Can a Jedi lightsaber cut through Superman?
This question has been haunting me for a couple of days and is keeping me awake at night. Off hand I want to say no, but I think if you add in a couple of variables my answer might turn to yes. If the lightsaber is constructed using kryptonite crystals, then duh, of course it would cut Superman. Now if you just had a regular lightsaber constructed of normal lightsaber crystals, then probably not. But what if it was a red lightsaber? Since Superman receives his power from a yellow sun and is weakened by a red sun, this could have an impact. But then again, the light of a red lightsaber is possibly different than that of a red sun. But all of this lead me to another question:
Who would win in a fight between Darth Vader Superman?
Vader of course would be using a red lightsaber, which could possible harm Superman, and Vader would also have the use of the dark side of the Force as a Sith Lord. Right now, I thinking Vader would defeat Superman. If you’ve seen Spaceballs then you know Darth Helmet would agree.
This is just too much for me to wrap my head around, and I don’t think I can blog again until I find an acceptable answer.
