Bag of Randomness

  • I agree, that is probably one of the most awesome pictures in the history of ever.
  • You may have not noticed it yesterday, but there was a minor change to the website.  The spacing between the lines are now a bit larger.  I was thinking things were a bit hard to read and thought the spacing would make it easier.
  • Last night on Dancing with the Stars I noticed that Buzz Aldrin was wearing his Apollo Mission pin.  For any of you that have watched any of those moon/space travel series, you’ll know the significance of that pin.
  • Yesterday for lunch I ate at Soulman’s BBQ with one of my friends, who happens to be black.  When he entered the restaurant, he couldn’t help but point out and laugh how there was a large picture of one of the employees, who looked like a white redneck, with a name plate attached above it that read “Master Willie”.  We are both quite certain they meant “Pitt Master Willie” but it was funny nonetheless.
  • In case you were wondering, it’s one of the better BBQ places in the area, but then again, I don’t think Dallas has a lot of real good BBQ.  So far, the best BBQ in the area is Mike Anderson’s on Harry Hines.
  • Just found out yesterday that if you hold down the alt key and type 0241 – the result is a tilde over the n – ñ.  Here’s a list of other keyboard shortcuts for special characters like bullets (alt 0149), degrees (alt 0176), and a quarter (alt 0188).
