48 Hour Human Timelapse for Charity

48 Hour Human Timelapse from Marty Stalker on Vimeo.

At 0630 on Thursday 4th March 2010 we began the 48 Hour Timelapse of a human subject with the Canon 5D Mark II and TC-80N3 Timer Remote Controller. We finished at 0630 on Saturday 6th March 2010.

After getting involved with the Belfast4Haiti event Rick from redskyni.com and I wanted to do something extra to raise awareness in our social and business circles to hopefully get people talking about the Haiti and Chile disaster. So we dedicated the piece to help raise funds for both countries and all money will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee justgiving.com/belfast4haiti.

Bag of Randomness

  • I’ve met a few men that have went with the name Dennis, but I have never met anyone that has gone by Denny.
  • My wife got her Baylor magazine in the mail yesterday with the non-controversial Kenneth Starr on the cover.  But she did mention there was something about U2 in it.
  • I know ABC was touting the return of V, but I really didn’t like seeing that countdown clock while watching LOST – it took away from some of the suspense that I enjoy.
  • Trying to save some money on a floor install, I’m having a guy I found on Craig’s List to do the job.  I took off work early and moved all of the furniture out of the room myself, mainly because I don’t like how other people handle our stuff.  Only problem, the install guy’s van broke down and couldn’t make it to GeedingManor.  He apologized profusely, will be giving us a discount, and I was able to reschedule for a Saturday install.
  • Because I had to disassemble our bed and moved the mattress out of the bedroom along with the rest of the furniture, we in a sense don’t have anywhere to sleep, which is a problem because WifeGeeding of course is with child.  So right now we have the mattress right in the middle of the living room.  Yeah, it’s a little weird, but you know what, it’s actually a little fun.  It’s like being a kid and making a fort.
  • But DogGeeding and OtherDogGeeding sure are confused.
  • I mentioned I got a new lithium ion battery powered weedeater that I really like, but it turns out the battery is now indicating it’s defective after just one use.  So now I’m in a bit of a conundrum, since the weedeater, battery, and charger all came in the same box, do I just return the charger and the box, or do I need to bring a dirty weedeater along with me?
  • I bought some Old Spice deodorant just because of description of the scent made me laugh: Fiji – Smells Like Palm Trees, Sunshine, & Freedom.
  • That freedom part was what made me laugh, however, my U2 fans can tell me what the scent of freedom smells like.
