- I’ve said here several times already, but other than MSNBC and a few newspapers like the New York Times and the Washington Post, I don’t think the media has a liberal bias. There are of course channels and newspapers with a conservative bias, but for the most part, I think the news is neutral. To be honest, it’s a sad state that any news organization is considered to lean one way or another.

I’m Voting Tea Party
The Tea Party might have a quasi-mainstream official platform, but it also seems to be a magnet for far right loonies, angry racists, borderline psychotics and those that are simply grossly misinformed.
These shirts are for those fringe nutjobs that make the Tea Party rallies so much fun to read about.

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Looks to Shut Down “God Squad” With Legal Threat
Father Luke Strand of the Holy Family Parish in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, has a pretty interesting ride. He drives around town in a black Volkswagen Beetle with a logo featuring the phrase “God Squad” emblazoned on it. That logo and the vehicle itself bear a striking similarity to the mobile service vehicles of Best Buy’s service team, the Geek Squad.
Apparently, Best Buy isn’t pleased with its look being appropriated by this man of the cloth. Lawyers for the electronics retailer sent Father Strand a cease-and-desist letter telling him to ditch the logo or face consequences.
Father Strand mentioned the letter at his Sunday Mass.
Speaking to the Fond du Lac Reporter, Father Strand defended the logo. He says he uses the logo as a creative way to spur discussions and bring his faith to the community.
