• It annoys me when I see shirts worn under the jerseys in men’s college basketball.
• Wow, a big win for Wal-Mart . . . they’ll start selling the new iPad before any of the Apple stores.
• Yes, Gallagher suffered a heart attack just a few miles down from my house. But what a lot of folks don’t know is that he had a brother that was copying his act and promoting himself as Gallagher.  Eventually, Leo settled out of court with Ron.
• I’m absolutely the name of that U.S. soldier that shot those Afghanistan citizens hasn’t been leaked.  He’s lucky that he was flown out of the country, and if I were an Afghanistan citizen, I would be royally pissed.
• I’m not sure a digital camera disguised as a rifle is a good idea.
• A parent makes illustrations of things he actually said to his children.  Perhaps my favorite is: I’m not talking to you until you are wearing underwear.
• Poor bunny didn’t hear it coming.
• As many drought problems we have in the area, I’m surprised their isn’t a push to use greywater for watering our lawns, or that new houses don’t have this capability built in.
• I’m thinking this gun/knife combo is a good zombie killing device.
• Has anyone actually fell for snipe hunting?
• Pope commissions custom-blended cologne
• If Texas isn’t careful, Arizona will be the state leading in executions.
• Google uses toilet water to cool their data centers
• I wish guacamole came in little packets like ketchup and other condiments do.

• I’ve been proud of the folks in the DFW area that volunteered their time to welcome home the troops.  It’s especially touching when you see a Vietnam Vet, soldiers that didn’t’ get a welcome home, give what they deserved but never received.
• Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is about to start serving a 14-year sentence for corruption.  If their’s anyone I have any sympathy for regarding that whole mess, it’s his two young children.
• I recently discovered that Claire Shipman of ABC News’ Good Morning America is married to the current White House Press Secretary.  And here’s another ABC News’ connection with the White House – UT grad Bianna Golodryga is married to Peter R. Orszag, the former budget director for the Obama Administration.  Yup, ABC News has some connections alright.
• I think I like this counter space saving idea for a set of knives.

• With the signing of Kyle Orton, I guess that means the drafting of Stephen McGee was another wasted draft choice.
• Somehow the state of Texas was able to find an extra $2 billion for road construction.

• Those SnorgTees ads on various webpages sure do catch my attention quite easily.

• The subwing [YouTube] seems like a fun thing to do in the water.
• 10 Hours of Darth Vader Breathing [YouTube] – I think this can help me sleep at night, and that has to be one of the longest YouTube videos out there.  But this is still my favorite Darth Vader commercial.
• If you put your finger in your ear and scratch, it sounds like Pac-Man.
