60 Years of Presidential Attack Ads, in One Video
This 1984 Reagan commercial stood out to me . . . add a $1.28 for a pound of bacon! Ain’t nobody gonna to increase the price on my bacon. No wonder Reagan won in a landslide. And imagine paying $2.27 a gallon for gas.
Bag of Randomness

- CBS, this should have been done long ago: CBS hopes to neutralize NFL runovers by pushing prime-time lineup back a half-hour on doubleheader Sundays
- However, I didn’t know that you could sign up for alerts on the CBS website so that when football goes over, they will alert you as to when your show will actually start.
- Texas will have its first congressional debate to be conducted in Spanish.
- Yesterday I was contacted by a writer of the “Today Show’s” Bites (Food) website to use something they found on BagOfNothing.com. Eventually you’ll see this little website referenced here.
- In late April a U2 Conference will be held at the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Being a huge U2 fan, I’d love to attend, and being a huge NFL fan, I’ve always wanted to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame that’s about an hour away from Cleveland in Canton. This might just be a trip worth exploring.
- I haven’t seen Sean Connery in a while, but he was at the US Open and looked good. I wish the man would come out of retirement. He’s 82 in case you were wondering.
- Jane Fonda pulls off a decent looking Nancy Reagan in the upcoming movie The Butler. Actually, the cast looks pretty impressive.
- Rubik’s Cube for the blind
