- I have some Canadian readers and follow a few on Twitter, it was interesting to see them tweet about watching the presidential debate last night. I’m sure most American’s can’t even name the Canadian prime minister.
- At the end of the debate Bob Schieffer closed a purple binder. I can’t help but wonder if that was a TCU binder he will later donate to the Schieffer School of Journalism.
- With this being a debate about foreign policy, I was a little surprised Romney didn’t bring up Libya.

- The last time the top Democratic and Republican presidential candidates without any prior military service face each other was back in 1944 – Roosevelt vs Dewey.
- “Nightline” took my advice and got rid of Nicolle Wallace and Donna Brazile for their debate coverage. They were replaced with Martha Raddatz. She, along with Matthew Dowd provide great analysis.
- I know how one Dallas Cowboy offensive lineman spent his Victory Monday. Yesterday evening I walked out the front door to get some fresh air and saw a shirtless Doug Free mowing his lawn.
- I’d say at around 90% of the people on my street hire a lawn mowing service, so it’s interesting seeing the wealthiest person on the street be prudent and mow his own lawn.
- Those pictures of Fidel Castro gardening reminded me of a scene in The Godfather when Don Corleone had that health episode chasing his grandson in the garden.
