Los Angeles is known for having all kinds of characters, but walking the streets as the Son of God in the City of Angels has a certain poetic ring to it. Thanks to smart phones and the miracle of social media, the sunglasses-sporting impersonator (real name: Kevin Lee Light) has gone from being just another West Hollywood oddball to human meme, with hundreds of pictures posted online as well as a devoted flock of Twitter followers via the @IsawJesusinLA feed.   • Looking at my credit card transactions online I saw a duplicate charge from a Wal-Mart made two days ago.  Thankfully we kept the receipt.  I called the credit card company who instructed me to go to the store who instructed me to call a phone number who told me it was a cashier error and a refund was already issued earlier in the day.  Going into the call I was expecting the bare minimum of professionalism and service from the phone associate but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
  • I did a lot of Christmas card envelope licking last night, which made me think of that classic Seinfeld episode.
  • The Rangers lose their aging – injury prone – team leader in striking out – inconsistent – can’t see the ball in the daylight – headcase to a division rival?  Sounds like a win/win to me.
