When I hear about former Speaker of the House Jim Wright my first thought is of the time Dick Cheney was talking to the National Journal and called him an SOB – Ex-House speaker Jim Wright rejected for voter ID card. That sure was an interesting time when the military was downsizing, closing bases and paying active duty men and women to leave early.

About a week ago I was telling DaughterGeeding when to use tooth and teeth. Over the weekend as we were getting ready for bedtime she was putting toothpaste on her toothbrush, paused, and asked me if those things should be called a teethbrush and teethpaste.
I wish there was a way to turn off notifications on the Sportsday DFW Ticket app.
That Adrian Peterson touchdown run on fourth down was fantastic, but Troy Aikman couldn’t have been more wrong when he said it was an example of great individual effort. Dallas Cowboys safety Jeff Heath actually had Peterson wrapped up, lifted from the ground, and was about to plant him on his back when a teammate of Peterson’s caught him from falling which allowed him to get back on his feet to finish that tremendous run.
I always suspected that the Cowboys stayed in a hotel as a team the night before a home game, but it wasn’t until I spoke to my neighbor that I was able to confirm that that they drive individually to the Gaylord Texas, and then individually to the game and then back home.
