  • So I’m watching one of my favorite shows last night, ‘Elementary’, and Watson (Lucy Liu) finds the murder victims ID and states she’s from Mineral Wells, Texas.  That was quite a shocker, though the address doesn’t exist.  I wonder how my hometown made it in the show.  As a matter of fact, the town was mentioned three different times in the show.
  • I shared this story once before, but I was in a bar in San Diego with my cousin and I got carded by the bouncer or doorman.  He looked at my ID, then at me, back to the ID, and loudly asked, “Where the HELL is Mineral Wells, Texas?”  I was kind of hoping Sherlock would say the same thing with his dapper English accent.

    • He described a traumatized but dignified first lady placing her wedding ring on her husband’s finger and kissing his bare foot before leaving the emergency room.
    • He thinks someone planted a bullet in the operating room as it was laying on a clean sheet.
    • An earlier version of the article included pictures, one of which was part of a blood stained clothing the doctor wore.

    • The book loves using state nicknames that I’m not familiar with, such as referring to Nevada as the Silver State.
    • Romney had a small army of people working on his tax returns as his investments were held globally and in certain tax havens.  That crew was trying to create a censured and modified report to make public, Santorum just used TurboTax.
