SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (KTLA) — Authorities are investigating the death of a worker who was cooked to death in an oven at a tuna processing plant in Santa Fe Springs.
The accident happened about 7 a.m. last Thursday at the Bumble Bee Foods factory in the 13100 block of Arctic Circle in Santa Fe Springs.
Jose Malena, 62, was discovered inside a cooking device called a “steamer machine.” Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
