Camouflage Football Uniforms

December 6th, 2008

I didn’t catch the Army-Navy game but on the way home I heard on the radio that they wore camouflage helmets, but it turns out their pants and jersey numbers were also in camo.  I think this is a pretty cool look for Army.

While trying to find a picture of the uniforms I also found out this game introduced new items by both Riddell and Nike.  Read the Riddell piece here and the Nike piece here.  In short, it looks like Riddell provided the new helmets and Nike provided the Enchancer uniforms for both Army and Navy.

Super high resolution photos (that don’t show the uniforms well) are here:

Dubya was also at the game, and there are a few somewhat funny photos of him here.  He always seems pretty relaxed when he’s at a sporting event, but then again, who isn’t.

I was at the game. I thought the uniforms were awesome, but almost everyone in our party disagreed with me.

And yes, George Bush was there for the whole game. Whenever he attends, it takes about 45 minutes to get through the security line. With our baby in tow, that was NOT FUN. I guess George Bush just wanted to ruin one more day for us before January 20…

    ;)

    Rev. Hart,

ANY major politician or celebrity will cause security problems for any fan. Including your Pres-Elect Obama.

I’m sure Bush has better things to do then to personally cause problems for ONLY you.

Who would have thought that the cloth of choice for death, destruction, murder, rape and mayhem would make such a lovely fashion piece.

Nice to know the missing body parts of those would wear this for real, are just a new fashion trend.

Right, because those fine young men and women attending the USMA and USNA won’t be serving at all. Camo’s been “in” for a couple decades now, by the way.

Also, I never knew camo was cloth choice of rapists. It’s like a Dentene commercial, “9 out of 10 rapists prefer…”
