I’m a bit surprised that everyone working at the White House aren’t wearing red MAGA masks with white letters.

ESPN’s The Last Dance was a great thing to watch. I have bittersweet memories watching the 1998 NBA Finals. I knew it was going to be Jordan’s last run and then two weeks after winning his second three-peat my father died. Dad spent the entire series in the hospital, unconscious for most of it.

It looked like some of Jordan’s games with the Bulls were filmed in HD, but it seems I don’t think the timeline matches up. If his games weren’t filmed in HD, I don’t understand how they can make non-HD material look so good when other non-HD stuff looks very pixelated.

The Jazz deserved to lose simply because of those ugly team colors and jerseys.

The best part of my supermarket job was the people. Now, they’re the worst part.I can’t help but see shoppers in terms of risk — especially when they deliberately break the rules

This 3D tour of Ramesses VI tomb is pretty cool, even on a mobile device.

  1. Ben W. says:

White House staff couldn’t wear those masks while performing their official duties because that would violate the Hatch Act (which prohibits executive-branch employees (except POTUS & VPOTUS) from campaigning while performing their job). Of course, this administration doesn’t care about that, seeing as how Kellyanne Conway has been found to have violated the Hatch Act so much that the Office of Special Counsel has literally recommended Trump fire her and, obviously, he hasn’t. So maybe you’re right – it is surprising they aren’t all wearing them. Because what do laws mean any more??

The “Eat It” video was great, but the part that killed me was Weird Al solemnly saying “we’re all in this together,” and then slowly panning over to show his gorgeous view of L.A. Leave it to Weird Al to take the best subtle jab at well-meaning (but dense) celebs trying to connect to “regular” people. Yeah, we’re all in this storm together, but we sure as heck aren’t all in the same boat.

I love me some Weird Al.

Never have heard one of his musical creations I didn’t enjoy. And his joining Weezer to perform the song Africa blew me away. Talented guy.
