I haven’t had a Tempting Video/Picture of the Day post in quite a while, and I really debated about posting this one. So let me warn you, this one is gross and there’s a little foul language involved.
It’s one of those videos that just sucks you in, and you just keep watching it all the way through. So what’s it about? Popping a cyst on a man’s back.

The practice of placentophagia, eating the placenta, is practiced in many parts of the world, and is said to stem postpartum depression and help to contract the uterus after the birth.
After Chrissy Schilling had her first baby over the weekend, her twin sister Kathy cooked up the placenta and they had a feast. They put it on pasta and on a sandwich. They even put pictures of the meal on Facebook!
Sure, some people thought it was gross — but that didn’t deter the sisters. “I think people being grossed out by this is mostly just ‘fear of the unknown,’” Kathy says. “It’s the same sort of reaction people have when it even comes to the cuisine of other cultures–what’s normal in another culture can seem repulsive to one’s own.

Dirk had an accident. Below is the X-ray and pictures showing his totally crushed finger tip. It took 1 1/2 hours of surgery to remove the shattered bones and repair the damage. Medically speaking, he crushed his right index finger distal phalange. The magnets had a 50 cm (20 inch) separation when they decided to fly together.

A man found some tuna eye on sale and decided to give it a try . . .
I was at the grocery store and I got the urge to eat something new. I looked around and I didn’t really see much until I found a food that could look back. It was only a hundred yen, which is less than a buck, so I figured I’d give it a whirl. It had a sticker on it that said that it should be cooked, but I didn’t really know how to cook it. I tried to find stuff online, but there aren’t a lot of English webpages devoted to eating fish eyes, so I just decided to boil it.

While watching football Sunday afternoon WifeGeeding offered me a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was warm, but I didn’t realize that they were right out of the oven, which resulted in me burning the roof of my mouth. Click on the picture below for a high-res picture of the sore and some yellowish teeth.
