Sure, the last decade didn’t get such a great rap; recessions, wars, and massive unemployment tend to do that. The question remains, though: What can we expect in the next 10 years? Instead of asking the usual experts, we wanted the dirt from those with the best imaginations – young people (that’s anyone born after 1985). We recently e-mailed queries to parents and teachers asking what their charges predicted. Some forecasts were quite gloomy. But at least we’ll finally have money trees.

• I think in 10 years there will be a device that makes monkeys talk to you in English. It will be the next big hit in the U.S.
• I think in the next decade the world will have too much technology and everyone will be attached to it. They won’t go outside and play with their friends.
• I think that in the next decade, scientists will start to make prosthetic lungs and other organs. I also think Apple will make at least five more products, a genius will be born, NASA will make plans for a habitable colony on the moon, the Hubble Space Telescope will find a new galaxy, and more efficient light bulbs will be made. Finally, I think heat lasers will be used in warfare.
• I think presidents will only have one year and one year only to live in the White House with fame. So yearly people get a chance to vote. I don’t think there will be a flying car, which is just unreasonable.

Considering that they would be mortal enemies if they ever were to meet in the wild, it is stunning to see their unique and genuine friendship in these intimate pictures.

Rescued eight years ago during a police drugs raid in Atlanta, Georgia, the three friends were only cubs at the time at barely two months old.
They had been kept as status symbol pets by the drug barons.

Delivered to the Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue Centre in Locust Grove, Georgia, the decision was made to keep the youngsters together, because of their budding rapport.

This family (I have no idea who they are, I just thought it was a cute video) was a lot more productive at putting up the Christmas tree than what we were. Heck, we are basically doing the advent approach, and we are only doing that because I just made that up.

The Geeding Advent Christmas Tree Assembly Protocol

Week 1 – Get the tree out of the attic and assemble.
Week 2 – Decorate with lights.
Week 3 – Add ornaments.
Week 4 – Add star/angel to top of tree.

It’s a divide and conquer method and takes out the overwhelming frustration of getting the whole thing set up in one day. Or in my case, it just fits my procrastinator lifestyle. Now if I can just get WifeGeeding on board.

I have, and it is a great feeling.  I take pictures with my camera of people at random in my town then post them here on my blog.

I give them my card which has the url and tell them to check it out in a couple of days.  It is a great feeling.

I hope you can appreciate the bigger picture I’m trying to show… that the only thing separating my smile and their smile is the camera.

Two complete strangers bonding only for that given time for the sake of the others benefit.
