  • To my surprise, Black Panther was able to rent last night via my Amazon TV device. It wasn’t my favorite Marvel movie but I certainly enjoyed it. WifeGeeding also enjoyed it, but she was really impressed with the visuals and scenery.
  • I’m going through a bit of a rough patch right now, and perhaps one day I may be able to share some details about it. But I’m thankful how a movie can give me a bit of an escape from real life and real problems.
  • I called my friend Jimi yesterday just to get some stuff off my chest, but I have to admit I lied to him at the beginning of our conversation. He was politely wondering why I called and I said I just wanted to see how things were with him. That was true, but I also just needed to talk to a friend, someone who knows the background of my childhood and everything that makes me tick.

  • The ‘Ellen’ show with Bono and The Edge aired yesterday and the duo performed an interesting acoustic version of “Vertigo”.
  • Robert Downey Jr. is making a YouTube Red series about artificial intelligence
  • I keep seeing articles this week which marked the 20th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s death and the Seinfeld finale. It’s easy to remember where I was at the time, I was in New York for a university class trip. Sandra, you were there. If I recall, Barry over at LiberallyLean was also there and we may have been at the same Yankee’s game. They were playing the Twins.
  • This should be a fun watch. – ESPN Films, quickly becoming the go-to for quality sports documentaries, has announced a partnership with Netflix to co-produce The Last Dance, a 10-part look at basketball icon Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ final 97-98′ championship run.

  1. Mr. Mike Honcho says:

Fantastic pictures from your NY Trip. Funny how those become more special over time.

Sorry to hear about the rough patch, Amigo. I am glad you have found someone to talk to. No matter how much we internalize, it is almost always good to find someone to talk to.

Barry would have been easy to find at the baseball game.

He would have been the kid sitting on a booster seat so he could see the field.

  3. Bryan says:

I seem to remember seeing a pic on social media at some point where I noticed that his wife is taller than him. Hope everything is alright with him. LL has been dark since his Monday morning post and he rarely goes off the grid for that long unannounced.

  4. df of ll says:

Barry and I lived on the same mean street in Bport. His older brother and I were classmates.

My wife and youngest sister(2 different people) were cheerleaders for his peewee football team and cheered him on to his Peewee Football Hall of Fame career.
