I haven’t read the Gone Girl book or seen the movie, but I think some of the girls I hang out with have it in the back of their mind at all times. For instance, they were talking about the Midlothian fitness instructor/mother that was murdered in a church earlier this week. Her husband was away on a fishing trip in Mississippi at the time. They think he hired that fake policeman in the surveillance video to be the hitman.
Prince was found dead in an elevator, that doesn’t beat the King being found dead on a toilet. Long live the King! Oh, wait.
I’m too lazy to look it up, but I wonder what Price was doing Dec 31, 1998. Booking him to perform “1999” right after the year started surely would have cost someone big bucks.
Someone from my project team will be making a presentation at the White House next week. It’s all about how our project is making things more efficient, eliminating waste, and saving taxpayer dollars.

Tomorrow will mark the 29th anniversary of my grandmother’s death. It was the first loss of a loved one for me, and for some reason, April 23 has always stuck in my mind since I was a ten-year-old.
