I am really conflicted about him. I mean, I know he has done unforgivable things but I love "Himself" and the Cosby Show. I was born in 84, and I grew up thinking he was awesome. When horrendous sins are uncovered AFTER someone's work is universally loved, are we supposed to throw it all out with the bathwater? Are we bad for still loving the work? Are we still allowed to admit that we still really really like it?
I mean, we get to keep poetry, lit, and music composed by perverts anyway right? Does it just take time for society to go ahead and label the work acceptable again?
I am rambling and don't really have the vocabulary to express what I'm trying to get at, but I hope it makes sense. When your dad gets commits a crime, you still love your dad right?
