  • I was going to go with this picture at the top of this post but thought some of you might find it too provocative.
  • I watched Anchorman 2 last night and it was better and funnier than I expected.  It’s set in the 70’s and there are several skyline views of NYC, but I’m surprised the World Trade Center twin towers weren’t in them.  Steve Carell is such a scene stealer in that movie.
  • The CBS Evening New was broadcasting live from a Las Colinas gas station touting $1.99 gas, but just seven miles away in my dwelling area gas is $1.89.

  • Trailer for the Entourage movie – The show aired for a season or two longer than it should have, but after watching this trailer, I kinda miss it.
  • Here’s your cute fix for the day – Buzzfeed – For The Past 20 Years, This Man And His Dogs Have Created The Most Magical Christmas Cards – But the sad part is, as you probably expect from the dog’s age, it appears to be her last performance.
  • The GOP’s hatred towards Socialist Obama isn’t justified with the latest economic news, but I guess it’s just the liberal media propping him up:
    • The Dow has never been higher and has more than doubled since he took office.
    • GDP has its fastest rate of expansion since 2003.
    • The economy grew 4.6 percent in the second quarter, making it the first time in 11 years that GDP has risen at least 4 percent for two straight quarters.
    • Personal income and personal disposable income has grown, though not at a great rate.
    • Gas prices are down.
  • Are there justifiable reasons to be upset with the current administration? Absolutely, and they don’t deserve full credit everything.  But when it comes to the latest figures, the economy shouldn’t be one.  Now it’s just a matter of time before I get some spiteful comments about my ignorance and blind allegiance and how things would be better faster if other policies were put into place, but maybe the Christmas spirit will prevent that from happening.

You have the evil Republicans in congress to thank for all of the positive economic news. It would have been even better if Obama had not forced Obamacare onto the American people. Keep in mind that the most destructive parts of Obamacare have not even kicked in yet.

Obama bumped the national debt up an extra one Trillion the Wednesday before Thanksgiving this year. I don't remember the state run media reporting on that. The debt is now over 18 trillion. Even with record GDP growth it is mathematically impossible to pay it down.

I don't hate Obama, I just see him for the destructive fool that he is.

The president is a lot like the quarterback… Too much credit for anything that happens, good or bad.

A lot of great economic news, including consumer confidence is finally heading up.

Unfortunately, the Democrats running for office in 2014 ignored all of it and seemed to be embarrassed by it. You ignored the fact that Obama took a more reasoned approach and did not listen to the more bellicose members of Congress and the media when it came to dealing with ISIS and Putin.

I can't wait for 2016 so we can take our country back

    Haters gotta hate.

" The CBS Evening New was broadcasting live from a Las Colinas " Speaking of that..

I didn't see the whole broadcast of the CBS Evening News but I believe I caught the tail end of a story claiming that the Sony Pictures hack may have actually been committed by a former Sony employee going by the name "Lena". The person making the claim said that in the first contact with Sony Pictures the hacker wanted money and that while the malware used in the hack was written in Korean it is commonly available and used by hackers worldwide. I haven't seen much more about it Supposedly they have the true identity of Lena and she worked in position where she would have knowledge of the Sony IT system.
