When BoyGeeding hears the new U2 song “The Miracle” he likes to sing the “oh oh oh oh” part, but it’s so off it’s terribly cute….at least to me and his mother.
Southlake teen wants to change homecoming mum tradition – Basically, she wants the money that would normally be spent on a mum (something you non-Texans won’t understand, but to learn more click here) to go to charity. The last time something like this happened there was a huge uproar about how this affects small businesses such as flowershops that depend on revenue from mum sales.
GIF – This woman totally missed a building implosion because of her cute little dog acting up.
NY Post – The living hell of a man who orgasms 100 times a day – It all started with a slipped disk in his back. But here’s a heartbreaking line, ““Imagine being on your knees at your father’s funeral beside his casket, saying goodbye to him — and then you have nine orgasms right there.”
What a bummer it was to hear that local sports anchor Max Morgan died last night. He just had that certain something that made him very likable, and hearing him say “Hello Dallas-Fort Worth, let’s talk sports.” always brought a smile to my face. I’ll always remember how Terry Bradshaw use to tease him about his hair piece and then one day he appeared with a shiny bald head and just unleashed on Bradshaw who just couldn’t stop giggling. It was nice of his coworker Mike Doocy to dedicate the entire sports segment to him. Since he died so late last night, I couldn’t help but think Doocy recorded that segment sometime before his death, and I wondered how tough that must have been. I also caught the WFAA newscast and thought it was nice he was mentioned as well.
Newy at NBC5 honored him as well by starting their sportscast at 10 with a brief statement and then Max's tag line…Hello Dallas Fort Worth, let's talk sports!
That I35 pic is up on billboards here in SA.
I35 has been under construction since the beginning of time, and will still be under construction after we're all dead.
So the sign should read "One day, your great grandchildren will love I35, until then, HAHA." And have Nelson's voice ha-haing 24/7. Or at least every hour to keep time.
I love Stephen King, and I really enjoyed the book that miniseries will be based on. Great, now I'll have to come up with a way to justify the expense of Hulu to the wife. Life was a lot easier when all we had was 3 channels, amirite??
I started watching the Indiana Jones clip, then jumped ahead to the point where he is replacing the idol with the sand bag (about 6 minutes in, I think). I watched for 15-20 seconds and I was hooked. I looked up and 5 minutes had passed. That entire action sequence in black & white, with that weird soundtrack, was mesmerizing. I wonder how many other "classic" films would be so engrossing?
And finally, my greatest disappointment today is that the Disneyland link didn't work. Are you trolling all of us, or just me in particular?

Is that Ron Solo or Han Burgandy?
