  • Man, I got a lot of work done yesterday, mainly because Feedly was being extorted.
  • Today is National Peanut Butter Day.  Show me the Nutter Butters!  Mmmmm, Nutter Butters.
  • VSt8TxzToo bad casino gambling isn’t legal in Texas, casinos could take bets on when that Lake Whitney home will finally crash in the lake.  I’m surprised the local news folks haven’t tracked down the owners for a camera interview.  As a somewhat time-lapse photographer, I wish I had a camera set out outside that place.  And wouldn’t it be cool if someone sent a small drone in that thing to get some footage of what it looks like on the inside?
  • DaughterGeeding had a total of four immunizations yesterday and she had a total of zero tears.  #that’smygirl
  • Sometimes it’s really hard to work at home because the kids can be loud, but sometimes they say or do something that is so darn cute and heartwarming I’m thankful for the minor escape of work problems.
  • I wonder if I’ll watch more than five minutes of the World Cup.
  • I’m starting to notice that most of the news websites will autoplay a video along with their article, and that ticks me off.
  • It kind of feels like we now have a three party system in government.  I still think the Republicans and the Tea Party should split.  As much as I disagree with a lot of the policies of the Tea Party, I will certainly hand it to them for their passion and voter turnout, especially those “non-popular” elections.

  • With all the school shootings and stabbings and everythings else, I’m thinking every parent would want their child to have a mobile phone.  It seems like the only real solution to these school shootings are a long term approach on mental health.
  • I’ve never had a business card with my name on it.
  • For the fans of Vice, the news program, it might just be taking over Headline News.  As a kid, I can’t tell you the number of times my father would watch HLN over and over, seeing how often the news can change in half an hour.  If I recall correctly, the sports segment always came on at the 23-minute mark.

You've got to be kidding me about PF/WoO! That was huge when I was in high school. It's cool to experience and supposedly it's all by coincidence. Too bad the album ends long before the movie. Maybe it was a few years before your time, but I thought it was pretty common rock-n-roll knowledge. You know about playing Stairway to Heaven backwards, right?

HLN lost it's way years ago. I used to watch it regularly. Now if I do it's by accident. Anyone that airs Nancy Grace can count me out. Vice has a very impressive operation. Been a fan for years. I'm surprised none of their guys have been killed yet. They will stick their neck out to get a story.

Wait. How have you never had a business card with your name on it? That boggles my mind. I guess too much of my work revolves around making connections.
