  • I love the serenity of a rainstorm.
  • Sometimes DaughterGeeding really puts things in perspective for me.  I recently dropped something and became frustrated. She asked what was wrong and I sighed and told her that I dropped something.  Her reply, “That’s OK, Daddy, we can pick it up.  Here, I’ll help.”
  • Fathers of daughters three big fears: teenage pregnancy, working on the pole, pics/video on the Internet.
  • Bryan Cranston would make a great Lex Luthor, but I think no one would be able to get past the Walter White image.
  • I found an interesting show in the Sundance Channel called ‘The Writers’ Room’.  Basically, they take the writers and creators of your favorite shows and interview them.  Here’s the ‘Breaking Bad’ episode.
  • The ‘Mythbusters’ ‘Break Bad’ episode airs tonight.  If you go to their website, you can check out their version of the Ozymandias poem with Jamie doing the narration.
  • Jessie sure is good at throwing money away.  If that happened in real life, you’d see that all over the news and the Internet, which I wonder is going to happen on the show.
  • It appears that the only cure for Walt’s cancer is for him to morph into Heisenberg.  So there’s more symbolism for you, the cancer went into remission when he became Heisenberg.
  • I like how ‘Breaking Bad’ will give us the ending to something to teach us that it’s all about the journey.
  • If I ever turn into a meth dealer you will know because the name of the blog will change to BreakingBag.com.  In case you are wondering, that URL is available.
  • Last night’s episode was dedicated to this teen who died from cancer.
  • The camera angles remind me of a lot of ‘X-Files’shows.  If you like ‘Breaking Bad’ you might like a lot of the ‘X-Files’ episode Vince Gilligan was behind.
  • I’m convinced at least two leading cast members will die.  Right now, it’s looking like Jessie because he knows too much and psycho.
  • If I remember correctly, the GPS tracker that Hank used can only tell you what’s on it if you hook it up to a computer.  So right now, Hank doesn’t know that Walt has been to Jessie’s house.
  • I wonder how many Los Pollos Hermanos closed after Gus’ death.
  • I remember reading somewhere that Vince Gilligan likes to use colors for foreshadowing, much like oranges foreshadowed death in the ‘Godfather’ movies.  Yellow is used as impending danger, which was the color of the remote control car, and red is danger, and Hank was wearing a red shirt.  Oh, and did you noticed when Walt said “Hi Carol” oranges rolled out of her dropped
  • I’m assuming Walt hasn’t told his Skylar and “Flynn” about his chemo treatments.  And if you noticed, the chemo was yellow.
  • Cranston has done some impressive weight gaining and losing for his character.
  • I saw one of those seasonal Halloween stores open up in the area recently.  People can’t possibly be going into those stores yet, can they?
  • Something I never noticed in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies – his hair is parted one way as Superman and the other as Clark Kent.
  • Something else I never noticed – sometimes you can see arm pit sweat in his costume which made him, in my eyes, a little less super.
  • Regarding the women found in the freezer in Mineral Wells, I don’t know the family but the house isn’t all that far from my childhood home.
  • I’m surprised there isn’t a movie solely based on George C. Marshall.
  • You may not even be able to trust mirrors soon.
  • I can’t stand the feeling of wearing a wet sock.
  • I’m glad to see AMC’s ‘The Pitch‘ will be back on the air this Thursday.  Basically, the premise is two marketing firms competing for the contract of a major business and you get to see all the behind the scenes stuff.  Good stuff, trust me.

I was shocked when Walt went to see Hank. I was shocked even more when he confronted him. Skylar's true colors came out when Walt mentioned a new car wash.

Talking Bad was great! Julie Bowen trying to pick Vince Gilligan's brain was hilarious. Apparently he will be on each week and give a clue/spoiler for the next episode. Gus may be gone, but Madrigal Electromotive isn't.

That judge in Tennessee went waaaay over the line, even for Tennessee.

Didn't know that about the color thing. That's pretty cool. I was a little underwhelmed by the episode, although I got pretty dang nervous when that garage door came down.
