  • Perhaps the biggest ego boost any American can have is to actually walk down the aisle before giving the State of the Union.
  • Perhaps from nerves, Senator Rubio must have had a bad case of cotton mouth, wiping his mouth and then grabbing for some water was a very awkward moment.  Not that I agreed with his message, but it’s unfortunate most folks will only remember that moment than the context of his speech.  But at least he had a bit of humor about it a tweet.
  • One of WifeGeeding’s friends posted a most impressive picture on her Facebook account, she was watching the State of the Union at the White House in the theater room.
  • I caught just a snippet of the Stars/Oilers game on Fox Sports Southwest and was amazed at the HD quality, it was like watching a game on Blu-ray.
  • I always get a kick out of when Iran or North Korea gets busted for photoshopping pictures.
  • Disney will give free “Lincoln” DVD to every middle, high school in U.S.
  • Of all the Die Hard movies, I’ve only seen the first.
  • Mark Cuban understands that owning a professional sports franchise is a business like no other and how it has a responsibility to its fans and the community.
  • Being a non-drinker, Mardi Gras would probably be a big beating for me.
  • There was a time when my little escape from everything was playing video games.  I can’t even recall the last time I played a video game.
  • I use to be a pretty decent hacky-sacker.
  • ‘Survivor’ comes back tonight, but this season will feature a bunch of annoying cast members from the past so I don’t know if that’s a good thing.
  • A nice way to hide the cables on a wall mounted television.

  1. Richard says:

Everytime I have seen them play in Edmonton the HD, ice, and color looks amazing. I settled in to watch the game last night and I was thinking that I really wish they played every road game in Edmonton.

  2. I guess that's what they mean when they say "not ready for prime time." Poor guy.
