This was more Alan Sheppard than John Glenn as far as spaceflight goes. Technically, it's closer to Dirk Bobblehead flight. Of course they aren't interested in manned spaceflight, just want to make sure they have enough booster to reach Israel.
US began launching monkey's in 48. The first monkey was Albert, who suffocated during the flight. Albert II was next. He survived the flight but not the landing. The parachute didn't deploy. Albert III exploded at 35,000 ft. Albert IV and V met the same fate as Albert II. Albert VI had a bunch of mice on board. I suppose they were good luck charms because he was the first to survive. Sad, but true.
Does NOT look happy.

According to a comment in The Onion, "I’m concerned that this is only a prelude to Iran launching monkeys at Israel.”
