Hummmmm I thought mormons did not believe Jesus is our savior and therefore they are not Christians? Funny that there is a box to check of that I am a Christian, for a non- christian. Plus the face Jesus preached helping the poor and Romney wrote off the 47%. I don't get how so many republicans make an issue out of a persons beliefs when it suits them and ignore it when it dosen't.

Extremely offensive. This is the problem with so called christians. They should just have a prayer that says "hoorah for me and screw everybody else lord"

Why is this "extremely offensive?" I can see misguided. Silly. Inaccurate. Maybe even inappropriate. But offensive? Which part? The part that implies that Christians "overwhelmingly" support Romney? I might agree: that is totally inappropriate. I know many Christian friends who support Obama. What about the part that seems to connect Europe praying against Muslim conquest with Christians praying for a Romney victory? I might agree again: that is an unfortunate juxtaposition. But if it is offensive to have faith in prayer, then I don't know what to say. I am a "so called" Christian who believes in the power of prayer. I'm sorry if that offends you.

Some might be offended to be lumped into a stereotype that says all Christians are the same.

Ironically, the mock prayer you give is not that far off from some of David's prayers in the Psalms. Admittedly, those prayers can be troubling, even for some "so called" Christians.

I admit, Brent, that the wording by the previous poster could have been changed. BUT, with that said, I wouldn't condemn it as being totally off. I have not liked this political season where I have seen many Christians made a political stand for one candidate over another in the name of God.

So, don't get tangled up in the wording and see it for what it is.

If the ad had been to pray for our Leaders as we start a new term – well, I think we can all agree here that it would have been more appropriate for prayer.

p.s. … I completely do not understand the Christian checkbox. Odd.

Unfortunately of late so called christians prayers all seem to be about what benefits themselves. Dear Lord let my team win sun.- dear lord get me outta this jam- me,me,me. what happened to "thy will be done?"
