A new study found that more food than ever is wasted in America and consumers are still the biggest culprits. The average family throws out about $2,275 in food annually.

    Guilty. And, NOT proud of it at all. I hate when that half completed watermelon doesn't get eaten, or the carrots lingered for too long. Or the potatoes become a science experiment. It's not right.
