- Do airlines have insurance on their planes like we pay for insurance on our cars, so in the event something happens they are able to recover part of the loss or damage? It is possible or does the government/military have insurance on jets/helicopters/ships/subs and can file a claim after a loss or damage?
- I’m happy for the folks of Oklahoma City and hope the Thunder wins it all. I’m sure it hurts a lot of OU fans to be cheering on a Longhorn as their marquee player.

- Speaking of crazy and humid, I’m traveling to Houston at the end of the month for a wedding. I know nothing of that place, but do any of you have recommendations for places to stay or to eat or things to do? The wedding will take place at Copperfield church in northwest Houston.

Yes, airlines do carry insurance for their planes. I'm not involved in it and don't have many details, but I imagine the premiums are significantly higher than a car insurance premium. =)
Honestly, I don't think President Obama will win a second term. I think the economy is going to only get worse in the coming months and that Mitt Romney is going to leverage the emotionally-informed biases against President Obama toward his advantage. And, I think Romney will enjoy the inevitable economic rebound in his first term and find a way to take credit for all of it, thus earning him a second term.
I'm pretty sure the government is self-insured. I worked for the U.S. government for 25 years and all of our cars were self-insured
I'm famous.
Keith, check out <a href="http://www.orangeshow.org” target=”_blank”>www.orangeshow.org for a great and unique Houston experience. Hard to explain, but I guarantee that you'll be posting pictures from it if you check it out while in Houston.
If you like sushi, other Asian foods (Chinese, Korean), and grilled meat (Churassco), check out Kpop (formerly Todai) — buffet style but good quality. It's a spectacle and absolutely worth the trip.
There are plenty of other Houston things to do, but I thought these would be a bit different and worthy of your time.
