Old ‘Empire Strikes Back’ Interview conducted by KXAS’s Bobbie Wygant

A local and ‘legendary’ reporter got to interview the cast of  ‘Empire’.

  • Harrison Ford compliments Anthony Daniels’ acting, and actually calls him Tony.
  • Wygant asks Billy Dee Williams about being the ‘token black’.
  • The cast talks about the future prequels and the three movies that are suppose to come after this timeline.
  • It’s mentioned how C3PO and Vader get upgraded costumes.
  • Apparently there’s some big secret revelation between Vader and Luck Skywalker, and the actor that played Vader didn’t find out until he saw it in theaters.

  1. Paul Clifford says:

I remember that Dave Prowse said he was surprised about Vader's relationship to Luke when I saw him at a convention about 15 years ago.

  2. Stefanie says:

When we went to Disney this summer, I bought the kids the Mr. Potato Head pieces for Darth Vader and other Star Wars characters. There is something about Star Wars that just irresistible. Anyway, I dressed up Darth Vader with his light saber and told David, "David, I am you Mother!". Hilarious at the time. But, for *months*, that's all he would say. Finally, we had to show him that infamous clip. He still prefers to say, "I am your Mother!". Ha, ha!
