Same thing happened to my wife's cousin from Mississippi about 10 years ago. She refused to take chemo when she found out that she was pregnant after thinking she was not able to have children for so many years. Mom passed a few weeks after the son was born and sadly, his dad has also passed. Heroic people are all around us and we don't even know it.
i read about this in the oklahoman sunday edition while at work. it bought tears to my eyes.
