It may be un-American, but I’m just not a McRib fan. But I did learn it was invented by a meat scientist from Nebraska and a Luxembourg-born, French-trained chef from the Drake Hotel [Article]. That article also mentions the ingredients and how it’s actually made.
All of that reminds me of a segment I saw on a Jamie Oliver show in which he shows kids how chicken nuggets are made, it’s very eye-opening and made me change some of my eating habits.
There was a television series on CBS in the 90’s called Due South that dealt with a Canadian Mountie and an American cop. I actually enjoyed that series and makes me think that all Canadians are uber nice.
I just found out that Bing.com has a great map feature where you can look at your house or other place from different angles. For example, here’s my church, just click on those arrows in the upper right to look all around it.
