I've never understood why old movie grosses aren't automatically adjusted for inflation when being compared to the latest blockbusters in the news. It only makes sense to do that if you want an accurate comparison.
It's really surprising when you see them adjusted for inflation. Like Star Wars made over a billion dollars!
