This is a great post! My daughter was born with only moderate to severe hearing loss, but it was caught at birth. Many hospitals do not screen for this regularly so we were very blessed that it was detected early on. Her hearing aides help restore her hearing to pretty much normal levels. But it was no less amazing to see this little boy hear his mother's voice for the first time!
