I’ve met a few men that have went with the name Dennis, but I have never met anyone that has gone by Denny.
My wife got her Baylor magazine in the mail yesterday with the non-controversial Kenneth Starr on the cover. But she did mention there was something about U2 in it.
I know ABC was touting the return of V, but I really didn’t like seeing that countdown clock while watching LOST – it took away from some of the suspense that I enjoy.
Trying to save some money on a floor install, I’m having a guy I found on Craig’s List to do the job. I took off work early and moved all of the furniture out of the room myself, mainly because I don’t like how other people handle our stuff. Only problem, the install guy’s van broke down and couldn’t make it to GeedingManor. He apologized profusely, will be giving us a discount, and I was able to reschedule for a Saturday install.
Because I had to disassemble our bed and moved the mattress out of the bedroom along with the rest of the furniture, we in a sense don’t have anywhere to sleep, which is a problem because WifeGeeding of course is with child. So right now we have the mattress right in the middle of the living room. Yeah, it’s a little weird, but you know what, it’s actually a little fun. It’s like being a kid and making a fort.
But DogGeeding and OtherDogGeeding sure are confused.
I mentioned I got a new lithium ion battery powered weedeater that I really like, but it turns out the battery is now indicating it’s defective after just one use. So now I’m in a bit of a conundrum, since the weedeater, battery, and charger all came in the same box, do I just return the charger and the box, or do I need to bring a dirty weedeater along with me?
I bought some Old Spice deodorant just because of description of the scent made me laugh: Fiji – Smells Like Palm Trees, Sunshine, & Freedom.
That freedom part was what made me laugh, however, my U2 fans can tell me what the scent of freedom smells like.
Thanks for the update on the weedeater. Base on your recommendation, I highlighted it for purchase…now I'm backing off big time. Other than the totally defective battery, does it generate enough power to edge properly??
I still recommend the weedeater, highly, I just think it's one of those things that just happens.
I was using a battery powered Black & Decker and wasn't impressed with power or battery life, but this Ryobi lasted very long and I was very impressed with the power. The power was much stronger than the B&D that it allowed me to work faster.
Speaking of the name Denny, there is a pretty interesting blog for a guy named Denny Burk (http://www.dennyburk.com/). I don't know the guy but he's the dean of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I found his blog a while ago as he was very critical of the stance Irving Bible Church took on women teaching in church. There was quite a firestorm of comments on the blog entry (http://www.dennyburk.com/radio-debate-with-the-pa… I don't agree with many (most) of the stances he takes but its usually a pretty good blog and i follow it fairly regularly.

I used to work with a Denny and Dennis – same department and we all only sat about 2/3 cubes away from each other.
You would have loved it.
Like the top of a newborn baby's head?
you got it!
