Bag of Randomness

  • WifeGeeding had another sonogram last night, all is well as we entered the first week of the third trimester.
  • I’m enjoying the extra daylight.
  • I used a doggie DNA kit the other day to find out what kind of mutt DogGeeding really is, the results should be back in two weeks I think.
  • It’s almost time for me to mow the lawn for the first time this year.
  • I think I’m about to paint a room soon.
  • Man, time is flying, Good Friday is next week.
  • I’m on an scrambled egg kick as of late, and I keep burning the bottom of them.  I guess I’m either using too much heat (medium) or not greasing the pan enough, or a little of both.
  • One of the guys on American Idol is from Cool, TX, which is just outside of my hometown of Mineral Wells.  But for some reason, their website says he’s from Fort Worth.  I noticed the same thing happens to Alice Walton (yup, of the Sam Walton family) when she’s mentioned on a “richest” list – she happens to reside in Mineral Wells.
  • At one time the phone number to the White House was “1”.  Here are other interesting facts about the phone(s) at the White House.  The most amazing to me was that the line in the Oval Office wasn’t even a private line, meaning someone else could pick up another phone in the White House and listen in, all until Clinton had the lines changed.
  • Do you know how to spot Passover Coke? It’s basically Coke made with real sugar and not corn syrup.
  • The world’s only immortal animal
  • It appears that Sarah Palin will have a show on the Discovery Network.
