In Hudson Valley, the milkman delivers again

WARWICK — Remember the milkman? You’d wake up in the morning to find fresh bottled milk on your doorstep just in time for breakfast?

Yeah, neither do many people. But this gracious bit of nostalgia from a gentler age is poised to make a comeback.

That’s because Warwick resident Rob Schuller has started Schuller’s Dairy Deliveries, a delivery service for local dairy products. He delivers milk and other local products fresh from area farms to your door.

“More and more, people are taking an interest in where their food’s coming from. Plus, I want to support the local farms,” Schuller said. “It’s healthy food, and it’s a convenience.”

    As a kid in the 60's and 70's here in Dallas, we used to get neighborhood deliveries of Schwepp's Dairy and Charles Chips.

    The bf gets milk, eggs, butter and french onion dip delivered weekly here… Royal Crest Dairy has been delivering still for many many years…
