- I’ve had the same cubemate for over a year and yesterday I found he’s moving to another cube. Breaking up is hard to do.
- As you know, he’s from India, and his English isn’t always on target, but dang it, he’s a good friend.
- On Mondays he will always ask me how the Cowboys performed by asking me, “Who won the competition?”
- Over the past year, he has asked me the most innocent of questions that I sometimes had trouble answering:
- Why do we eat turkey on Thanksgiving? (Native Americans told us to, more food than a chicken, better tasting than geese, and they were at the wrong place at the wrong time)
- How did dressing up for Halloween start and why do people go trick or treating? (It all started a long time ago in a galaxy far far away)
- Why do we celebrate St Patricks Day? (Because U2 is a band from Ireland and Bono’s favorite color is green)
- Why does the presidential election last so long? (we’re a fickle country with the best of intentions)
- Why is there a spring break? (So girls can go wild)
- Why do we have a time change twice a year? (there’s nothing like spontaneity)
- Why do we decorate a tree at Christmas? (capitalism)
- How come American football is call football but the ball isn’t kicked as much (Barry Switzer deemed it so)
- Man, I’m going to miss teaching him about America.
- My new cubemate became a grandfather at 38 and he enjoys cooking.
- I think Matt Damon is more talented than Ben Affleck.
- That stadium in Cleveland sure did look empty last night. Oh, and Thursday NFL football is stupid.
- On The Daily Show, Jon Stewart joked that Will Smith will play Obama in a future movie, with Beyonce as Michelle, and Randy Quaid as Joe Biden.

Ok…who are they kidding about the Thomas thing? I love that show and there is nothing about it that is going to hurt someones ideas about working or about women. Maybe she is a little scared of trains? LOL
There's many more articles out there saying that Thomas has a communist undertone.
