Whenever I watch an old cop show from the 70s or 80s, invariablely the detective or PI needs to make a call from a pay phone in the lobby or in a hallway. They are never more than a few feet from a public phone; now there are a total of four in largest city in the country.
And all the teenagers in America ask, "What's a phone booth?"
