- WifeGeeding has a pretty sweet summer gig, she gets paid as a pizza test taker. That’s right, she gets paid to eat and to voice her opinion.
- While watching SNL in my teenage years I never thought that one of the cast members would actually become a senator. But then again, I’m sure people watching Bedtime for Bonzo never thought the guy acting with a chimp would become a highly regarding president of the U.S.
- I think they could have come up with a better name than Nigaz.
- There is a person currently living in GeedingManor that will be taking an FBI physical pretty soon.
- I typed in the word “governor” into TheGoogle the other day just to see what the first result would be. Hint: It’s not the governor from Alaska.
- I’m not sure if this i’s going to prevent all bribes.
- I have to test a company’s redesigned website on a Mac for about a week. I’m definitely a PC kind of guy, but I bet most of you would think I have more of an Apple personality.
- People who have bought a ticket for one of those Michael Jackson shows will have the option of a refund or a souvenir ticket. To me, that’s a no brainer, choose the souvenir ticket, those things will only appreciate and sell for a killing on eBay.
- Joe Jackson isn’t going to be up for any Father of the Year awards.
- Interesting quote of the day:
“This was a whole lot more than a simple affair, this was a love story. A forbidden one, a tragic one, but a love story at the end of the day.” — Luv Gov. (and Promise Keeper) Mark Sanford Link
- Ronald Reagan wrote Michael Jackson a get well letter after the hair on fire incident.
- Conan is already showing re-runs. I’m sure it’s because of Wimbleton, but I’m not sure that’s a good move on his part. But then again, he may not have a choice.
- I think it’s time I turn on the sprinklers.
- There was a “cold front” that hit the area. Even though it’s not that much of a cold front, it did make mowing the lawn more tolerable.
- I’m looking forward to this three day weekend.
