Bag of Randomness

  • Seriously, this whole Oprah KFC coupon thing and this story reminded me of The Family Guy episode where Peter fights the chicken over a bad coupon.
  • I’m not a fan of putting together a puzzle.
  • Rep Jim Moran wants to ban ED commercial.  I say let’s take it one step further and lets bad all prescription medication commercials.  My doctor should know what’s best to prescribe for me,  not me asking him for a prescription because of a commercial I saw on TV.
  • I saw a 60 Minutes segment on prescription drug commercials a while back.  It turns out a lot of terminology we use today such as ED, IBS, RLS were created by marketing firms, not the medical community.
  • I wish I had a better understanding of fair use and how it applies to the Internet, especially pictures.
  • Our new pastor is having us over for dinner, the cool thing is he’s actually a gourmet chef.
  • So there was a radiation leaking hydrogen bomb underneath the Dharma camp . . . could this be why Ben got his tooomah?
  • Oooops, that last bullet point was suppose to go under my Random Lost Thoughts that I posted yesterday.  That’s what I get for blogging with two browser windows opened.

I agree 100% with your idea to ban all prescription drug commericals. I am so tired of seeing commercial for drugs that a doctor would have to prescribe for me anyway. They are another sign that the drug companies are charging us WAY too much for drugs.
