U2 This and That

No Line On The Horizon, the new studio album from U2, will be released on Monday 2nd March 2009.
As a paying U2.com subscriber I’m a bit peeved that we were not the first to know via email, as they have often sent other news to us via email. I had to hear this news from a friend. I may have to take this day off work and act like a teenage girl buying the CD and taking it home and listening to it all the way through. Yeah, I can download it, but I want the actual CD with cover and all to add to the collection.

So, as a U2.com paid subscriber, I have a question for you: being a paid member is what enables you to purchase pre-sale tickets for concerts, right? When would I need to sign up for the membership in order to qualify to buy pre-sale tickets?
I’m so stoked for the new album and the ensuing concert tour!
