I like this idea . .

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (CNN) — Sen. John McCain on Wednesday challenged Sen. Barack Obama to join him for a series of 10 town-hall debates.

Calling for “no process questions from reporters” and “no spin rooms,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee proposed one debate a week from now until the Democratic party convention in August.

McCain also suggested he and his rival travel together to the first debate as a symbolic gesture.

    I’m a democrat and like this idea. I am tired of all the spins and mudslinging ads. I would enjoy the Obama vs McCain townhall meetings. I would watch everyone. I rather watch them then the formal debates. It would be symbolic for them to do this together to show that both parties CAN work together to make this a better country. The only thing better then Mccain’s idea, would be for Obama to take it and run with it!

    I am against Obama, and I would LOVE to see this happen. Reason being: Obama’s political rhetoric will not hold up in a debate, his policy’s, if you can call them that, wont work – Look for him to avoid this completely and just keep spitting out those buzz-words that hypnotize the un-informed…
