The Only Gospel Event Sanctioned by the NFL for Super Bowl Weekend

ATLANTA, GA – The Super Bowl party will continue on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) television network on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) when GMC presents the exclusive world premiere of Super Bowl Gospel Celebration 2008, the only gospel event sanctioned by the National Football League for Super Bowl Weekend. The event, seen on GMC last year and ranked as one of the “Top 3 Must-See Events during Super Bowl Weekend” by USA Today, will be recorded live from Symphony Hall in Phoenix, AZ site of Super Bowl XLII this Friday night, Feb. 1. The show will feature the first-ever NFL Players All-Star Choir, which will be directed by the great Donnie McClurkin and invited guests include Indianapolis Colts Coach Tony Dungy; Pro-Bowl selection and Baltimore Ravens star Ray Lewis, fellow pro-bowler Tommie Harris of the Chicago Bears and players from each of the NFL’s 32 teams.
