Todays Random Subject: Al Roker
For some reason last night while trying to fall asleep, WifeGeeding and I were talking about Al Roker.
She stated that he is married to Deborah Roberts of ABC News. I told her that just couldn’t be the case, and in doing some research – she’s right.
It may just be me, but her hands look pretty darn large.
Other things I didn’t know about Al Roker until last night:
- He initially wanted to be a cartoonist before he got into television. This may explain the look of his website. www.Roker.com
- He’s a cousin of Roxie Roker (Helen Willis of the TVÂ show The Jeffersons)Â and her son, Lenny Kravitz.Â
- He holds the record for most guest appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
- Roker is the basis of animated character Ollie Williams of The Family Guy.
That’ll teach ya….ALWAYS listen to your wife!! LOL
