Number of Americans who believe Saddam-9/11 tie rises to 41 percent
A new Newsweek poll out this weekend exposed “gaps” in America’s knowledge of history and current events.
Perhaps most alarmingly, 41% of Americans answered ‘Yes’ to the question “Do you think Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq was directly involved in planning, financing, or carrying out the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001?”
That total is actually up 5 points since September 2004.
Further, a majority of people couldn’t identify Saudia Arabia as the country of origin of most of the 9/11 hijackers, even given the question in multiple choice format. 20% answered Iraq, while 14% believed the hijackers came from Iran.
Well, this explains a lot. Like, when I read reports that Bush’s approval rating is “down” to 31%, I think, who the heck are these 31%???? Seriously, THREE out of TEN citizens give this guy a thumbs up? I don’t know a single person like that. Not one. Who are these people? …Maybe their televisions only get one channel: FoxNews.

I must most respectfully remind you, Rev. Hart, that several years back, quite a few approved of Bush. I never, ever have or did. I didn’t even vote for the goon when he was running for Gov. here in Texas. I am definitely NOT one of the 31 or whatever percenters. I also remember several years back actually being afraid to voice my opinions about the idiot and his evil minions, especially to my church-going friends. It is a little alarming that the approval rating % has grown, but I remind myself that’s normal as the wackos begin their spins to the next election. All I can say about this entire Bush fiasco is the sheeple have had their days. I can’t wait until it’s over.

While I don’t support much of what he does, I do support other things. I guess those other things are important enough for me, that he still garners some level of support. Although, if asked the question, “Do you support President Bush?” I would lean towards the answer of NO.
Stupid is as Stupid does….or watches Fox News, Listens to Hannity and Rush, and really thinks that Bush is good for our country
