Good Morning Vietnam

Come on, as if I couldn’t make one post without that title.

Here are the pictures of the road trip from My Tho to a beach resort in Mui Ne.  One word of caution, some of you may be a little sensitive to the pig that is caged on the back of a scooter.  I took the picture above this morning.

Some high-lights:

A Vietnamese toilet.

The fuel truck that caught fire.

Great photo of the sunrise. I haven’t been to vietnam, so I’d be very keen to see more pics and get a 1st hand sense of the place.

I am loving all your photos and details of the trip. First, if I would have known you were flying so close to Juneau, I would have been on my roof waving. Second, the shots from the airplane are amazing..how do you prevent the glare from the plastic window? Third, wowzers on everything else. The bathroom scared me. The people made me want to get on a plane tomorrow. Amazing.

great pics, though. i’m really happy that you guys are getting this experience. that’s awesome!

the toilet reminds me of some of the toilets in japan. and believe it or not – in one of the monasteries in italy!

Keith, thank you for posting the wonderful pictures from Vietnam. I especially enjoyed the visit to the elementary school. Please give your relatives in Vietnam our best regards and best wishes. Clayton

I am sorry you can’t hear the gales of laughter coming from your nephew!!! His comment…”Why would Uncle Keith take a picture of a potty?!!” You can answer that one!

  8. I wouldn’t be able to go poop the whole trip.

  9. David Bryant says:

Us westerners refer to it as a “squatty potty”
