Evangelist drowns trying to walk on water
An evangelist who tried replicating Jesus’ miracle of walking on water has reportedly drowned off the western coast of Africa.
Pastor Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle, and he attempted it from a beach in Gabon’s capital of Libreville.
“He told churchgoers he’d had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus,” an eyewitness told the Glasgow Daily Record.
“He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat. He walked into the water, which soon passed over his head and he never came back.”
I’ve never heard of WorldNetDaily, so I wonder about the validity of the story.
The Babykeeper
The Babykeeper is a patent pending infant carrier style seat, that hangs from the stall wall in most public restrooms, and can also be used in many public fitting restrooms.
It kinda reminds me of those movies where the bully gives someone a wedgie and hangs him on the wall by his underwear.Â
Yet another thought, I don’t think I could go ‘bathroom’ with a kid staring right at me.

This is scary

Faith Fitness Coaching
“As a faith coach, Ron helps you identify the old habits and fears that keep you in the shallow end of the pool, while guiding you step-by-step into the deep end. He assumes you want more than a C+ rating in the faith department. Think of him as a fishing guide, personal trainer, and private tutor all rolled into one. It’s his job to help you see the unseen, to encourage you to make decisions that make God look good, and to introduce you to the world of mountain moving faith. “
And it’s just my personal opinion, but the music on this website sucks.
And if you are interested in taking his Faith Test, do so here.
Stolen Cellphone Pictures
This is interesting:
My cell phone was stolen last Friday. I had it disconnected and arranged to get a replacement. It had been set up with the excellent service from ShoZu to automatically upload all pictures taken with the phone to Flickr. So today, completely surprisingly, I find pictures on my Flickr account of the family of the person who took the phone.
Texan Foils Burglary In Britain Via Beatles Webcam
LONDON, Aug 25 – An American helped foil a burglary in northern England whilst watching a Beatles-related webcam over the Internet, police said on Friday.
The man from Dallas was using a live camera link to look at Mathew Street, an area of Liverpool synonymous with the Beatles and home to the Cavern Club where the band regularly played.
He saw intruders apparently breaking into a sports store and alerted local police.
