Here is my own Cowboys Conspiracy Theory:
Could it be possible that Parcells told Peter King to throw out the idea that Romo could start the season to divert attention away from TO? Peter King’s opinion about Romo was pretty uncharateristic of him, and Parcells was getting bogged down with all the TO questions.
Just a thought.
King was on the Musers this morning. He stands by his opinion that Romo will step in but has no apparent evidence to back it up.
That is a good thought, but I think the tuna is very foward and likes to play mind games with media himself
