WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Barack Obama chastised fellow Democrats Wednesday for failing to “acknowledge the power of faith in the lives of the American people” and said the party must compete for the support of evangelicals and other churchgoing Americans.

Obama would get my vote in a heartbeat if he were a presidential candidate. I would even help campaign for him, despite my apathetic political ways.
haha – a Democrat has to urge his party to have some type of religious faith. If you have to convince people to fein faith, isn’t that worse than not having any?
